Subject : A video titled "Pistol Packing Mama" was shown. The video is a story about the "570th Bomb Squadron" flying the B-17 during missions over Germany in 1943 and 1944.

Subject : Mr. Bath spoke on the three Acquisition Modes for obtaining Corporate Airplanes; namely Fractional, Lease and Outright Ownership.

Speaker: Master Sergeant Roy P. Benavidez, U.S. Army (retired)
Subject : Sgt. Benavidez spoke about his stay in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He received the "Medal of Honor" from President Reagan for valor above and beyond the call of duty at tremendous and multiple personal risks to his own life.

Speaker: Mr. Ron Bower, President of Austin Jet International
Subject : Mr. Bower is the only person to fly a "Helicopter" around the world setting official records in both easterly and westerly directions. In 1994 he flew solo in a Bell JetRanger; second flight he flew a new Bell 430 Helicopter.

Recognition of H.A.A.C. Corporate/Business members.
Subject: Twenty-One Corporate/Business members were recognized by giving each one a beautiful H.A.A.C. plaque and badge with a 1997 ribbon on it. At this same meeting Mr. Roscoe Edwards, President of the Raiders-Tigers Flying Club, and pilot for Continental Airlines, presented a "Ground Support Award" plaque to Mr. Bob Clark, Mr. Dan Illerich, and Gert MacDonald.

Subject : A video and slide presentation were shown. Astronaut Cabana spoke about what is to happen at NASA in the future. He is to command the crew of STS-88 which will carry the first hardware into space for the assembly of the International Space Station.

Subject : Mr. Wylie spoke on how you and be "TOP GUN FOR A DAY".

Speaker: Captain Al Haynes, Retired Captain for United Airlines
Subject : Captain Haynes spoke on United Airlines Flight 232 which crashed at Sioux City, Iowa, on July 19, 1989. Captain Haynes was pilot of that aircraft.
One-Hundred and Eight-Four survived.

Subject : Mr. Hilburn explained some of the U.S. Customs problems and what U.S. Customs Agents do to solve some of them.
